Understanding The Tarr[]

Theres a lot of reasons to just hate The Tarr to death. Maybe you hate them because they massacre slimes and it feels unethical to not do anything. Maybe you hate The Tarr because it hates you. Maybe its just too dangerous to have around. Maybe you want those nice plorts or some new slimes to accompany your friends. Who knows?

Strengths[]

Tarr hooks[]

I call this attack the Tarr hook and for good reason; they snatch up any slime and consumes it from a reasonable completely redonkulous distance. Its perposterous.

Bites[]

The simplest and second attack where The Tarr simply bites you, dealing 20 damage. The only attack they can use on you.

They can be anywhere[]

They can be right next to that adorable tabby, they can be right next to the puddle slime in your boot that keeps you cool and is weird. They can be under your hat. They can be requesting for slimes from the range exchange. They can even be you. Ok maybe that last one wasn't true, but anywhere 3 or more types of slimes are, tarr will be everywhere. Nothing can stop them.

If they can be there, they can breed there.[]

If there were enough plorts to make a Tarr, then there were slimes. Which means the tarr has something to feast on. Which means The Tarr will always be able to make more Tarr.

If they eat something before you huck them off the mountain, The Tarr it creates will not retain that momentum[]

Kinda annoying.

Weaknesses[]

Water[]

If you happen to have it on your inventory, splash it onto the tarr!

Water (again)[]

If there is a puddle nearby, shove it in there! It will die.

Sunlight[]

It can kill it and I don't know why.

The Slime Sea[]

No matter where you are theres probably only a wall between The Tarr and the sea. Sounds easy enough.

Tarr Destruction Methods (Or TDMs)[]

TDM #1: Repeat Hucking[]

Simply throw them all off into the sea. Generally works best near an open wall.

TDM #2: Waterworks[]

Splash some water at them. I promise it works. But it only works early on in the infection, and if you have some water in your inventory, which are both suprisingly common situations.

TDM #3: Water Works Too[]

Throw them in a nearby puddle. Or just don't care if they happen to be in a puddle.

TDM #4: Back Off![]

Use the pulse ray to disrupt them from a long distance.

TDM #5: Keeping them on the nose of your vac so that they stop trying to eat slimes[]

This strategy consists of keeping them on the nose of your vac so that they stop trying to eat slimes. It works.
