The Tanuki Slime is a confirmed slime coming to Slime Rancher 2. Its official name is unconfirmed but it appears to resemble a Tanuki/Japanese Raccoon Dog, that you often see in characters like Tom Nook or like the Super Mario Bros Tanooki Suit that lets you float in the air for a short amount of time. Not much is known about the Tanuki Slime.
