The Spring Pad is a player-created Utility gadget crafted at the fabricator at The Lab. Like most utilities, placing it down requires a two in-game hour installation cooldown before it can be used.
Acquisition
The Spring Pad's blueprint is obtained from a Blue Treasure Pod in The Dry Reef.
Due to it being contained within a Blue Treasure Pod, it requires the Treasure Cracker MK II to open it.
Usage
The Spring Pad elevates anything that comes into contact with it a short distance into the air, including Slimes, Food, Plorts, and Slime Science Resources, but not Echoes or Ornaments. It has approximately a half a second cooldown before it attempts another launch.
The player can also use the Spring Pad to elevate themselves into the air (at a shorter vertical distance than simply using Slimes and items), and then using the Jetpack to establish flight; saving energy and gaining more height in the process.
