Newbucks are the basic and most widely used currency of Slime Rancher. Everything that is purchased within the game is paid for in newbucks.

Newbucks are primarily earned by selling plorts at the Plort Market; Plorts will change in price every day. However they can be earned in small amounts via crates if a newbuck shower appears when opening them, or by feeding Lucky Slimes any kind of Meat.

Newbucks are used to purchase structures and expansions for your ranch, upgrade the Vacpack, and purchase higher ranks in the 7Zee Rewards Club which get incrementally more expensive per rank.

During the 5-day rush, trading items at the Range Exchange is a way to get 900 a day. This will be in the form of 3 Gold Plorts, which will be worth 300 each.
