The Angler Slime, or Anglers for short, are one of the more common slimes found in Slime Rancher 2. They are easily identified by their illicium (lure) and fins, and only spawn in the seaside tidepool areas of Ember Valley and Starlight Strand. Angler Slimes are found in areas near water, however they do not need it to survive, unlike Puddle Slimes.

Both the Angler Slime's name and design are based on Anglerfish, deep sea dwelling fish which use a bioluminescent fin to lure and ambush prey.
