So in my tangle-mosaic corral there's this jingling noise like the one a gilded ginger makes, but there's no gilded gingers in or around the corrals.
I picked all their food (silver parsnips) and plorts up and splashed all the lil glints that the slimes were making but the noise is still there.
I swear it's coming from the ground. Any ideas of what might be going on??
So this (in-game) morning I was feeding my quantums phase lemons and making sure they were ok and stuff. For context, I have one pair (I think it's a pair) of quantums who love to stack on top of each other, and this morning there were two pairs :3 it was so cute (still feel bad for the lonely guy tho)
And guess what else? When I came back from the Moss Blanket that afternoon, they were still stacked :0
(sadly I can't add images cuz they keep failing to load when I try to ;-;)
I really wanna largo my quantum slimes so I can get a better range of diet, and also just so I can get more plorts and stuff.
Any suggestions on which ones I should largo them to? (Keep in mind I don't have the glass desert yet btw, but if you have suggestions for those if I had it then that's appreciated too :)
I'd prefer a veggie diet addition since I have lots of that, but anything works really
This isnt for troubling slimes, but for 100% completion now! :)
So, you need help with the 7Zee rewards, huh?
Here's what i recommend: maximizing your ranch for money.
I recommend using mosaic or tangle slimes for this. maybe even mosaic/tangle largos! just make largos of those guys.
Set all your drones for food/plort collection.
Send the plorts to the market/market link, and boom! all you have to do is rinse and repeat a bit. be sure to water the drones every 24 hours! :>
Try doing this with weird or fun variations of largos! :)
Another slower, weirder way is to do mochi miles' quicksilver plort quest. after all, she gives you 200 newbucks per like, 10 quicksilver plorts! its easy to get more than ten if you space out your slow fields and bunch up your thunderclaps and static charges!
Slimeology: The Toxin Slimes are very toxic to touch. Almost fatal. While Its inner core radiates of toxic gas and gas it is one of the most friendly slimes and is very friendly.
Rancher Risks: The Toxin Slime is covered in a Toxic layer of slime that can easily be washed off with a splash of water, making it non-toxic to touch for no longer than 15 seconds. Only two splash of water is advised, any more the slime will disintegrate.
Plortonomics: The Toxin Slime Plort glows a slight green or purple in the dark and is not toxic to touch, however If the Plort comes in contact to any liquid it will disappear instantly making collecting it very challenging if you don't have a Plort collector.
Favorite food :Oca Oca
Preffered slime toy: Crystal Ball
Slime Type: Harmful
Occurrence: Ash Isle
Hi there! if you need help with ranching certain slimes, i am here to help :)
These guys are probably one of my favourites to ranch, because it helps motivate me to get more chickens.
I personally recommend using the overgrowth for them. you know that REALLY secluded area in the overgrowth? USE THAT FOR YOUR CORRAL. every other plot is for phase lemon gardens (as they are the quantum slime's favourite food, thus producing double the plorts!)
Max out your garden other than the scareslime.
Max out your corral other than the solar shield (and with my recommended, the auto feeder. more on that in a sec.)
Get a regular drone (less expensive and you really only need it for one task unless you want to auto put it in the refinery), and program like so.
Target: phase lemons
Why corrals and not auto feeders?
Because the fast mode is too fast, and anything lower will get escapees.
It may be inevitable to have escaped slimes, but we want to reduce it as much as we can. so having slime toys (of the puzzle cube variety) and the music box corral upgrade helps a lot!
Water is only a temporary solution. dont waste your water tank on something that wont last for a day.
On the subject of largos...
Do NOT make quantum largos. not unless you are sucked dry of another recourse for slime science.
But there is a more important rule to that.
NO DERVISH QUANTUM LARGOS. THEY CAUSE MAYHEM. and they lag out your game due to the constant tornadoes ._.
This is going to be a mini series, so feel free to comment on any of these with a slime you have particular issues with!
I have been playing on a slime rancher world for a long time and I have honey hunter largos but every time I leave the ranch they are SUPER angry when I get back I have it on slow as another post said that was a good speed for some more info I have about 8 slimes and they are getting fed mint mangos i have a lot stored aswell but i can only fit 100 food in one autofeeder also i naver remember to refill it can anyone help me with this?? i also have a lot of toys in with them
Silo Storing: 1-4 Garden plots, 1-2 drones (one advanced drone depending on food types), 1 silo. I personally have 2 veggie plots and 2 fruit plots and a silo. An advanced drone has both the fruit and veggies go into the silo. It can store up to 900 for every different food.
Free Range Chickens: 1 silo, 1 drone (pretty simple). Just have your drone collect chickens on free range in the overgrowth. I currently have 200+ chickens in my silos using this method!
Straight Forward Feeding: (main area with 8 plots) 1-4 Corrals, 1-4 Gardens, 1-2 Drones (same for the above). Have the drones collect food and put them into the corrals/auto feeders. As long as you keep the drones powered they are 100% fed.
So, I have seen some slime combinations for the game and decided to come up with my own combinations. However, my reasonings for the combinations relies solely on the type of food they eat and what seems the be the easiest way to get the food.
Well, here goes the combinations for slimes and what to feed them. Each slime combination will need the following: high walls, auto feeder and plort collector. But I'll add location and other needs for certain combinations as they appear.
Odd Onion, however, you may want to collect briar hens in a coop just in case some odd onions don't come out like you'd want *cough*you get too many carrots*cough*
You may want to keep these guys separated, either in the cave or in the overgrowth area just so that when you work with the other slimes, you don't get seriously hurt.
For these guys, you can keep them wherever you want them to be, just put a net on top in case you decide to travel and run out of food for them so they don't get out quickly.
You either want to put these guys in the cave, or you will want to get a solar shield as Phosphor slimes are super sensitive to sunlight.
These guys probably don't need an auto feeder, just because you can put the garden next to their corral and they can use the Tangle slime part of their anatomy to grab the fruit. But if you don't want to risk the possibility of them overeating, then an auto feeder is just as good. And keeps the fruit from rotting into dust.
The only slimes that I won't probably be mixing, or keeping the mixes of are anything with pink in the name, just because the pink slime, sure can eat everything, but you don't get the most of the plorts this way. Unless it is Pink-Saber Largos, and then whatever is closest to put into the auto feeder is what's going in there to feed the kids.
Now, why did I choose to do veggies and fruit as the food of choice for the slimes? Easy, because it grows faster than hens can be hatched. Now, this is my list of combinations, you do not have to agree with my list, but please feel free to use this as a guide to make your own, or even tell me what you think would be better for the list.
This rp is basically where a bunch a kids(us) find themselves on the range after being captured and sent there by a man (who May not be entirely man) explore and see that the whole place has been ruined one kid is snatched up into a portal since he was lagging behind no one noticed him (not yet at least) the kids attempt to search for the missing kid and they help different slimes along the way who assist them in turn and they find a young girl with strange abilities (or should I say stranger abilities) end of ch 1
